Teacher’s day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in India every year on the 5th of September. Today is 5th September 2009, so I decided to write this blog post. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan the first vice precedent of India was one of the greatest teachers in India and on his birthday, i.e. today, we Indians celebrate teachers days.
This day, throughout India, all schools hosts celebrations of various kinds. Some students play the part of teachers, and start teaching like their teachers do. All kinds of functions are organized in school. Indians respect their teachers from ages and 5th of September is just another day to say thanks to our teachers for the precious knowledge that they have given to us.
