Anti Nuke Deal shouts – Left got nuked in Election

I know this was coming, after all the stupid work done by the left in the last few years, this was pretty much expected. They had 61 seats before the 2009 elections, however I never expected them to go so far down, just 25 seats! Anyways, here are some reasons why left party performed so poorly in the elections.

• Mamata Banerjee – Yes she did the promotions, her campaigns were a lot better. She ran away with the CPM’s seats. Though I still feel she could give her tongue a bit of rest, too much of shouting dosenot helps.

• Nuke deal – Left withdraw its support from UPA over the nuke deal issue. The whole nation kind of supports the nuke deal, and thought that the left parties are the reason why India is not progressing. When the poor in west Bengal was crying for food, left was busy doing humbo-jumbo on a subject [nuke deal] that they [voters] don’t understand. Am a lot happy to see such low votes for left, now they will keep quiet for good.

• Useless – Left gave an impression that they were useless. They did not want to be in the power, they want to support the government from the outside… what kind of politics is that? Do you think your voters are gong to support you, NO! I Am your voter, I voted for you, and am telling you guys openly that you guys suck!

• The Nano joke – yes I know Mamata Banerjee should get more credit for this loss; however, the CPM played pretty much low politics over this. The security was never enough, powerful steps were not taken. Am sure this whole issue could have been handled a lot properly than what the CPM did.

• Somnath issue – the lok shaba speaker Somnath Chatterjee was asked to leave his post, once they withdraw their support from UPA, no one liked this step of karat. Am sure Somnath will be a lot happy now. It was really insulting.
