Some time back I got my voting card, was too happy to see it, as it is my first. Then came the sad part, my picture was on my father’s card and my voter ID card has my father’s picture on it. I did not accept the card and returned it with a little note along with it. The revised card never came.

The Bombay stock exchange or BSE, as it is called is the indicator of the economic strength or weakness of the country. India, which had a closed-door market policy till the late eighties, was a very slow growing economy till then. After India opened its doors to the world in the nineties, the economy picked up at a very rapid rate.
