How to waste Reputation Dollars and Brand Name on an Online Advertisement Campaign – Advani

L K Advani and BJP ads are appearing on quite a lot of Indian websites on the random throughout the Internet. Am a BJP supporter and vote for them, so don’t get me wrong here, but I have to say this now. Good ways of advertising online mainly means to give the users what they are searching for. In other words, the ads should be as an extra resource to the visitors, for example if an online surfer is on a page that talks of politics or BJP or Advani then its pretty good to have BJP ads on it, but if the page content is not relevant then having ads on it is useless. It might even sound silly and insulting for the advertiser or the visitor can get disturbed.

Advani
Advani ads campaign manager has used the Google adwords geo targeting method to display ads on any webpage that has Google ads on it. If you are an Indian Internet user and you are visiting a website that talks about dogs and has Google ads on it, then its pretty likely that you will see Advani on it. The image on the side will tell you why am calling this ads campaign, a poorly managed ad campaign.
There is enough bad press about this heavy Advani online advertisement campaign, and still it would had been a success if it was about a random online product, but here Mr. Advani is trying to build a reputation, that is more on the losing rather than gaining with an ad campaign like this.

that’s so poor ,from global it hub BJP don’t find one man who can campaign rightly for them
hi way2boom,
yep its really sad, now BJP is wasting investor’s money, later they will waste tax payers money… i hope they learn from their mistakes and run a better online campaign next time,
