I completely agree with all your observations on my article and appreciate your insight on evangelism vs islamic dawa trying to establish supriority in numbers in the world. Having said that, I do not understand how by painting the so called monkeys as taliban now or in the future would in any way imapct the status of hinduism. Firstly, these talibanic monkeys are not the keepers of hinduism. By saying that categorizing them as hindu talibans will in anyway adversely affect huinduism is a little too hard for me to fathom,as Hinduism is too great a philosophy to be affected by any branding of any individual or group by any names. Per se the word taliban in itself is not a derogatory term but one which is named by the organization themselves. It is does not matter whether they are islamic taliban or hindu taliban or christian taliban, they are all fanatic fundamentalists. As regards the mangalore incident, I have spoken to many parents and all of them expressed their desire to castrate Mr.Muthalik for beating up somebody else’s children and that too girl children. As a parent it is very hurting to see one’s own children being punished by somebody else while you watch helplessly on the television. And for what reason? Going to the pub? As far as associating them with the afghan taliban goes, I think I have insulted the afghan taliban by doing so. Please remember the taliban originated in a counry of warring tribes with little or no education but this indian taliban is eduated and live in a democracy, thereby making the indian version more dangerous and also more wicked.Whether they are evil enough to be taliban right now or in the future is of no concern to you or me but what is defenitely a concern now is that these monkeys have the potential to become far worse than the afghan taliban. I appreciate that ou have taken the time to read and respond to my article constructively showing that ” YOU CARE”. I thank you for that. I have only one small request to make to you, Pls do not call these talibanistic monkeys hindus, as a hindu, I find it terribly insulting to me” The hindu philosophy or the hiduistic way of life has only taught me to respect women and also live and let live. These have been completely missed by the so called gaurdians of Indian or Hindu ethos. If you have any other suggestion by way of names that can be ascribed to these goons, please feel free to tell me and I shall use them in my musings in the future. JAI HIND.

That is the problem.The westren and our own so called ‘secular’,english speaking media is now trying to construct a new saffron Taliban out of the Hindutva forces.Its like they are in a hurry to paint them in same colors as the Islamic taliban and pit the two large communities against each other.The only winners could be the evangelical forces perhaps………afer all it is the worst kept secret that Christianity is in a race globally against islam to conquer as many followers as possible in China and India……the two last and most populous frontiers in this numbers game.The religion of Islam has already been painted as heinous and all evil,next is the turn of discrediting Hinduism………..our ‘secular’ hapless forces will play along as clueless allies in these larger murkier dealings.If it sounds far fethced to you pls see on net some of the stated projects of the Evangelsits and how they target india and China and other non Christian people.

My objection has never been to punishing these hoodlums………just to creating incorrect analogies by calling these guys Taliban…………You have to read about what the Taliban have been doing to realise that these guys are not Taliban.Let us reserve that black label for those who induge in heinous deeds like the Mumbai attacks or similar acts by any community.

But let me ask you a question, yes i agree they are monkeys at the moment and not terrorists but if they are not punished heavily now, is it not a possibility that their sins will grow and they might become terrorists in the future.

There is no such thing as a Hindu or Indian Taliban (as yet).Neither the ‘ organisations like the one Muthalik heads nor the Islamic ones that make noise now and then have as yet done things as ghastly and regressive as the actual Talibans.Sticking this label on them is wrong and may just inspire them to get worse because of all the free publicity they have been accorded.

The Manglaore incident was wrong and must be protested against but not by calling these monkeys taliban.
