Maruti Suzuki Alto Xcite – Limited Edition Alto Car

Maruti Suzuki launched alto Xcite, a limited edition version of the highest selling Indian small car. The cost of this car is about 13k INR more than the regular alto. It will have some cool features like power front windows and manual central locking. Apart from that the bumper is also of the same color as the body, two colored seats and interiors and remote boot opener.

With all the features, this limited edition alto Xcite looks like a do-not-miss car. It’s the festive season and more such offers from other cars are also expected, but since I have bought an alto recently which is running very good at the moment, so I can back up this special car with all my heart. Go for it guys.

If you decide to go for the alto, remember to choose the alto lxi, the one with power steering and ac+heater, because both are must have features. However, the ac is rarely used because no one really drives with all the glasses up, though the power steering is absolutely a must have, it makes driving very comfortable.

What exactly is a limited edition car? Does it mean the company produces a fixed number of such vehicles? What if the demand is more than the fixed number of cars produced? I mean if there are e.g. 25000 customers and the company produces just 10000 vehicles then what?

      hi Vikas Kulkarni,
welcome to sniff india, and thanks for your comments,

yes, that is exactly what a limited edition cars is, if the fixed numbers are all taken then its over and if you are left out you won’t get it unless the company decides to roll out more. It is all done for the rush, quick sales i guess…

however, many such features can be customized in the showrooms, like other colors, body color bumpers etc, and honestly am not a fan of limited editions too, i like to buy the regular versions :)

    Sir,

If I go for only to buy alto Lxi or Estilo please suggest.

    • Uttoran Sen says:

that’s a very tricky question S Krishnam Raju, i had been through this question very recently and i opted for the alto :)

alto is a tried and tested model of maruti and i can personally vote for it because am driving it for the past 8+ months without a problem :)

now estilo is something that doesnot have as many sales, its not that common and personally i just could not buy it as my first car thinking if it went bad i would be really dissapointed. but comparing on the features, estilo is lot ahead of alto, and even the design is good too. Its your decision finally,
