Nandi Hills and UB City – Hills in the Clouds and Luxurious Mall

Nandi hills located about 2 hrs away from Bangalore is a must visit for those who want to experience the flow of winds, the beauty of hills that too in a place in Karnataka. The place has historical importance too. Saarc summit was held in India at the hilltop of Nandi hill. The hill also contains the beautiful temple of lord Shiva. The winds flowing on the hill are highly refreshing. The hill is full of greenery of all types. The hill is like a huge fort with many gates.

UB city is quite different from the other stereotypes malls present and coming up in India. It’s the mall set up by United Breweries Group Known as UB city. It’s a luxurious mall, which is huge and magnificent.

Nandi hills is one of the tourist hotspots near the hi-tech City Bangalore which is much far from the great Himalayan range, though Mysore is also nearby but the experience at Nandi hills is altogether different. The best time to visit the place is to reach the place at around 6 o clock in the morning. The half of the hill is merged in between the clouds and there is lot of fog and mist. Sometime one gets the rainfall too. Most of the times there is lot of dew and trees are full of moisture and when the winds blow from all directions then those drops fall pretending as rains. Visibility is very low. The hill is located in the clouds and nothing downhill is visible.

There is lot of trees of different varieties and flowers etc on the hill. The temperature is very low. Winds blow at a very high speed. One can feel like walking in the clouds. The place is full of monkeys too. These are very friendly and do not disturb the tourist much. There is a beautiful temple also at the hilltop. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The sky gets cleared when the sun came say at 9 and then there will be visibility. The whole area around the hill is very lovely with many fields and lovely greenery all around. The weather is quite good at Bangalore and it’s a good hangout for those living in Bangalore but its also a new experience for those who have been to mountains because the feel of the place is different. The freshness is also rare.

After traveling in the hills, one can go to UB city located in Bangalore. UB city is the mall with a difference. There are many malls in Bangalore like Garuda, forum, Big Bazaar, Bangalore central etc. but this is very different. At the entrance of the mall one can realize how big it is. Large fountains are there at the gate. There are good restaurants like Rajasthani and others to enjoy good food at. There are huge showrooms of famous designers from all over the world say Italy, France, England. There are showrooms of Rolex watches and many more brands. The style of display is what makes things different. The tiles, colour combination and other features are different. No doubt about the sales persons. They are very sophisticated. Behind the mall is the office of UB group. The time to spent is less if there is nothing to buy but the place is good for a short visit and if someone is ready to loose some cash then no doubt he can be assured of the luxury and choices that are available.
