Earthquake in various parts of India – Kolkata – West Bengal – Assam

A high magnitude earthquake was felt in the eastern Indian states like Assam, west Bengal etc. The center of the earthquake was Bhutan where it was measured 6.3 on the Richter scale. The quake happened 10kms deep and countries like Bhutan and Tibet are also hit. First quake was felt just a few hours before, at about 2:23 PM in the afternoon.
