Watch Solar Eclipse in India 15 January 2010 – Live Online

It’s the 15^th of January 2010, a day I was looking forward to for some time because today we have a solar eclipse here in India, and am taking a video of it from Ranchi, Jharkhand. From the morning itself I was excited about it, went to my roof with my mobile camera and shot a few videos. Since then, am here on my laptop trying to figure out windows movie maker and finally uploading the video on the Youtube. Its cloudy here so the sun is not bright enough thus letting me to take a clean video of it. It is amazing to watch the sun, come out of the clouds and reveal its moon like partial appearance and again go hiding in the clouds. Finally, the eclipse is at the end now, it was surely one of the longest solar eclipse I remember, said to be the longest solar eclipse of the century by the media.

Apparently, I was fasting during the solar eclipse, eating during solar eclipse or “suryagrahan” is no quite allowed in my home, old family rules, none of them makes sense nor do I believe in them, but followed them strictly all the same.
